17th June. Today we are bound for Fiscardo on the island of Cephalonia

Lots of traffic - this is the main sea lane between southern Italy and Athens

Val on navigation today

Busy in Fiscardo harbour - lots of day trippers

Very pretty place

Parked the boat on the town quay outside a busy bar - view through the arch leading to the first floor dance floor!

Some really big boats coming in - this sloop was around 100 feet long.

Cocktails at Theodora's.

Views of Acrobate and the fleet

****************************************************************

18th June. Today we set sail for a tiny village called Kioni on the island of Ithaca

And this is what we saw as we entered the bay - looks nice!

Kioni is very popular with day trippers - the ferries were queuing up while we were mooring!

Tiny place - no room on the town quay so we moored just opposite with the anchor out front and a long line ashore astern.

Swimming in the harbour amongst the fish.

A few tavernas ashore - we chose this one virtually on the beach.

****************************************************************

19th June. Off we go again to Abelike Bay on Meganissi

There's no port or anything here, so once again we chuck the anchor off the bow and tie up to a tree at the back. Jennifer found that our dinghy needed a few repairs!

Once repaired it was a lot better!

Val went out for a trip around the bay.

Meanwhile Jane tried out the new fishing rod she'd bought earlier in Kioni, and had some success!

Jennifer got this stunning shot of the fleet from the dinghy.

Our lead crew prepared a splendid barbeque on the beach.

Stunning views of the anchorage at sunset.

20th June. Back to Vounaki Marina on the mainland

Marinas are usually pretty grim, but they do have nice ice-creams!

Jane collects our prize. We are the 'Night Owls'. Can't imagine why.

Wandering minstrels at the restaurant in Palairos. Jane was not impressed.
